Welcome to my world of art! My name is Joanna but most people love to
call me Jo. I'm the creator and artist behind J.Amados Designs.

Some of you might wonder how I started out… Well, my creative side
started when I was younger, I enjoyed doodling and making handmade cards for friends and family. By the time I reached secondary school, product design classes were my absolute favourite! I loved woodwork, laser work, CAD design, drawing detailed floor plans, anything that kept me creating, I was involved.

But, it was only during the long lockdown season that I actually decided
to take my interest in Calligraphy to the next level and start practicing. Through trial and error, using the wrong papers, trying all types of brush pens, nibs and inks, overtime I got better and I even branched out to pursue digital lettering whilst experimenting with different
font styles.

At this point, ‘trust the process’ was my motto. I started exploring my
own art style and also started branching out into liquid and abstract art. Today,
through my creative journey I now get to share my own fun and edgy art pieces
with the rest of you!

My faith has been a big
influence in what I do today, so All the Glory goes to the most High!
